Apr 16, 2024 · Ash, Georgiou, Lorca, Pike, and Spock exceptions at various points. It’s really a shame, on other shows everyone got to shine at some point, I think DS9 did this better than most I mean we even get characters like Leeta who we know more about and got more to do than some of Discovery’s bridge crew.

And of course, like I knew it would happen, I loved it and I watched the first three seasons pretty quickly. I just finished the episode where the mirror Philippa Georgiou left the show through the time portal thingy.

We know from In A Mirror Darkly that it was already established by the time of Archer, a century earlier. Georgiou was born into and moulded by a terrible society, one that had been oppressing aliens literally since the second it encountered them.

Feb 6, 2019 · A lot of fans have suggested that Empress Hoshi Sato and Empress Phillippa Georgiou are related. The thought did occur to me as well, but I think it is unlikely. Leaving aside the fact that Linda Park is Korean and Michelle Yeoh is Malaysian (as are both versions of Georgiou), there is no reason to think that the Terran Empire uses inheritance ...

Mar 13, 2023 · I hope they make series about Captain Philippa Georgiou. It would be a prequel to Star Trek Discovery, of course. But a whole series on Captain Philippa Georgiou could be very interesting, if it's well made and well written. I found Captain Philippa Georgiou's character, and Michelle Yeoh's acting for her, to be really interesting in episode 1.
