Feb 20, 2012 · If I update my GTX 680 BIOS to a UEFI GOP, then I can disable CSM and my machine boots in about 7 or 8 seconds. BTW, I did receive, via email, a BIOS update for my GTX 680 cards. Works perfectly now. Thank you, EVGA. Now, it's time for a couple Maxwell cards in this rig. The GTX 680 card I am using in my X79 rig is temporary.

Mar 18, 2012 · on EVGA GTX 680 Classified. Its a bios mod for the standard bios switch, but I think it should work on "OC bios" and "LN2 bios" on the same way (sorry for my bad english). The opcode is NOT 0x0008000. My bios mod is tested and works fine and perfect! It's the original factory bios version 80.04.28.00.80 (P2002-0000). ORIGINAL:

Aug 27, 2009 · GTX 770 + GTX 680 should work in theory, but since SLI needs the same Bios to reg the cards that are going to be used for SLI, this won't work, cards have to be 100% identical, with ATi/AMD You can CFX a HD 7950 with a HD 7970 without issues or a HD 7990 + HD 7970 and get identical performance as 3x HD 7970, NVIDIA can really learn from this imo.
