Most San Antonio-area school districts have announced they will close Tuesday, including San Antonio, Northside, and Judson independent school districts. Area colleges and universities are also shuttering amid the freeze. Here's a full list of school closures.

Storm is now developing along the South Texas coast and starting to pump moisture into our region. Reports of light freezing rain, freezing mist and sleet are coming in. These reports will become more numerous through the evening and especially overnight.

On Loop 1604 at Bitters Road, TxDOT is reporting a crash impacting the eastbound lanes of the highway. The crash happened just before 7 a.m. and is blocking at least one main lane. Just before 7 a.m., a crash happened on Highway 90 at Loop 1604 impacting one westbound main lane and a shoulder lane.
