The Texas Rangers have recalled Jake Burger from Triple-A Round Rock. The move Monday came 10 days after the Rangers sent down the struggling first baseman who was one of their top offseason acquisitions.

The Texas Rangers, who returned home following back-to-back wins over the Detroit Tigers, recalled veteran infielder Jake Burger from Triple-A Round Rock and optioned first baseman Blaine Crim as the team prepared to host the Colorado Rockies on Monday.
