JetBlue Airways has announced that it is bringing back its nonstop flights between Pittsburgh and New York City. The airline says it will begin daily, year-round service between Pittsburgh International Airport and John F.
JetBlue (Nasdaq: JBLU) already connects Pittsburgh and Boston, and has served Florida cities from Pittsburgh as well in the past. And it's no stranger to the JFK-Pittsburgh route. It connected the two cities using Embraer 190 aircraft from June 2006 until February 2013.
JetBlue is bringing back nonstop service to New York City, a market it last served from Pittsburgh nearly 12 years ago.
Beginning on April 30, Jet Blue will launch daily service from Pittsburgh International to JFK International airport. The daily flight will be on an Airbus A220-300 aircraft seating up to 140 passengers and will include free high-speed wi-fi, in-flight entertainment, and in-seat power at every row.
