The NHL announced a goal change in the Calgary Flames' and Anaheim Ducks' game, resulting in a player missing out on his first career hat trick.

Gibson, who stopped 9 of 10 shots in the first period, was replaced by Lukas Dostal to start the second. The Ducks confirmed Gibson would not return to the game following his removal from it. "Lukas Dostal is now in net for us. John Gibson has an upper-body injury and will not return to this game," the Ducks announced on X.

Adam Klapka also scored for the Flames (25-18-7), who continue to duel with the Vancouver Canucks at the Western Conference playoff cutline. Calgary goaltender Dustin Wolf stopped 31 shots for the win, while his Anaheim counterpart John Gibson made 26 saves.
