We just finished our Badaling adventure. There are two train terminals at Badaling entry area gate. The S2 trains (slower service take about 1.30h) and the new HSR Terminal (25 mins). Both are about 600 m walking and well signed in English. We bought HSR ticket in advance using our passport no on WeChat Pay and Services. Confirmation 24 h prior to departure. You just show your passport and scanned id for entry to o trains.
